Black Sunday
This weekend should be noted on all calendars as Black Friday, because we all had front row media seats and an equal opportunity to witness the power of a single party system, the Obama oligarchy now coupled to political history. Oligarchy is a form of government by the self appointed elite for the elite (my crass definition).
Our nation’s founders, immigrants one and all, set up our radical legal system underpinned with familiar Judeo-Christian principles of the day, written in the common language used by our founders-the Kings English. Beginning with our Declaration of Independence and followed by the world changing Constitution of the United States they crafted our legal system carefully.
This weekend, I watched in horror as progressive democrats fecklessly and contemptuously dismantled our constitutional rights in full view of the American citizenry with openly displayed disregard to the will of the majority; Nancy Pelosi and her cronies gaily prancing through the capitol in a chorus line, mocking the assembled protestors. Was Pelosi singing a ditty, “. . . let masses eat cake” by any chance?
Americans voted for change and have gotten what they desired; anyone but Bush. They chose to elect a man whose background and qualifications were superficially vetted by a complacent progressive news media, complicit in promoting the not so hidden agenda of Obama.
This man Obama is a bigoted liar, bereft of ethics, amoral in every sense of the word and a treacherous politician. He is a cowardly and clever in his political dealings, never leaving his fingerprints attached to his handiwork when he can lay his accountability at the feet of his lackey’s, which group now encompasses the entire progressive democratic party of America headed by Pelosi and Reid.
Obama campaigned for office, using carefully scripted telepromted speeches, railing (among other issues) about our world image and the supposedly shameful interrogation techniques used against our enemies captured on the field of battle. Techniques that involved water boarding, dogs, isolation, sleep deprivation, never ending interrogations, badgering, psychological pressure, threats and humiliation to name a few. Except perhaps for the water boarding and growling dogs( excluding Pelosi, Reid and a few others), these techniques are the very same political abuses perpetrated at the hand(s) of that very same Obama oligarchy against members of our elected representatives in full view of the American public. Where is the outrage?
I am not shocked and nor should anyone else be surprised by our presidents gall; Obama was very clear in his language and actions concerning the outcome of his Presidency. He would be our socialist messiah and mold America into his version of a socialist paradise. Chavez, Castro, Putin, Bin Laden, Kim Jong Il and other despots are likely penning congratulatory tomes to honor his efforts to conquer and destroy America.
Are we to stand by in silence?
Yes, if you like the IRS operating like the German Gestapo or the Russian KGB in support of the government running every aspect of your life, protecting you from any of life’s boo boo’s . That is in fact, another insidious form of slavery, whose roots were finally pulled out by civil war in 1864 at the cost of nearly 700,000 lives.
No, if you want to run your own life and business without nanny state supervision, free to fail or succeed and reap the bounty of either, while making your own decisions in pursuit of things meaningful to you as our founding father intended.
Join the revolution, ink up your fingers. . . and vote the Obama Oligarchy out of office.

My Fellow Overtaxed Citizens
“offer the 31 million uninsured 1 to 5 million cash in lieu of Obama care-it’ll save us money”
Every time I listen to debates about the health care bill, the sad plight of 31 million faceless uninsured pop up to the surface and because I am a caring individual, I suggest offering the lot of them an either or choice; one to five million tax free dollars immediately and absolve the government of any future responsibility or wait for 4 years for the 6 years of Obama care to benefit them. I bet that they’ll opt for the cash.
Secondly, offer the 150 million plus illegal’s here in this country one to three million tax free dollars in cash to immediately leave the US or wait 4 years for the 6 years of Obama care to benefit them. For that kind of cash, I’ll bet they’ll take the money and repatriate to their homelands.
We would save money not policing them, educating, housing and nanny setting them with our welfare programs; plus it relieves the pressure with the gangs on the border, who will have a rich new market to chase after in their own playgrounds. And further, it provides their governments with an expanded upper class group of individuals to over tax and abuse. The chaos would keep them out of our hair long enough to finish the border fence and install mine fields along that same border at a depth sufficient to discourage tunneling under the border (that is a tongue in cheek solution – a future urban myth in need of initiating).
Combining the maximum payouts, it appears to me that it’d save US taxpayer a bucket load of cash while negating the need for huge tax increases, and here’s the kicker; it’d leave money for the government to use to start buying back its IOU’s to Social Security.
Why it won’t happen; common sense solutions don’t grow the size of government.

A Suggestion for Mr Barack Obama
Mister Obama, I share your concern for the 31 million Americans without the blessings of Obama Care, insurance that will cost US taxpayers trillions of future dollars, a debt burden I will be too old to help pay off when the bill comes due.
Granted, I am:
- a husband,
- a father and grandfather,
- a conservative constitutionalist,
- sorta college educated,
- disabled veteran,
- use Judeo-Christian principles to guide my life,
- a small business owner,
- in favor of less government,
- a supporter of rigid term limits,
- an American,
- highly opinionated.
In light of these characteristics, I want to share a thought with you; why not offer those 31 million Americans that you are so concerned about, a million tax free dollars to absolve the government of any further concern about their future medical welfare? You could poll them and offer them an ‘either or choice;’ a million bucks today vs 6 years of Obama health care starting immediately after a four (4) year waiting period.
If enough of those uninsured take the money and run, it could save us nearly a trillion bucks for you to buy back part of the 2.5 trillion dollars in IOU’s owed to social security recipients.
Mr. Obama, I doubt that you and I can ever sit down in a sports bar for a pizza n beer because I am diametrically opposed to your possible re-election and to most of your political spiel; frankly, I probably know street pimps and thugs with a higher moral and ethical code than yourself or the pathetic mac daddy wannabes you hang with on the hill.
Other than that, you seem to be a good dad and role model for many fatherless kids in the US, and likely a good husband-but then, so was Bill Clinton on the surface. Isn’t it odd how time bears out all truths?
It may be a huge benefit for you listen to your constituents; their common sense may surprise you.

EZ n Life
A guy that I know recently got a letter from his son, EZ, it started out You Asked For It and he then began crying and bemoaning his life; he was a professed Christian and wanted to blame God for all of his troubles. The sad part is that he is in his forties, lacks an education, he is aging, a heavy drinker and difficult to talk with because he has all of the answers. Just ask him, he’ll let you know about that fact within a few minutes of meeting him.
Here is the dad and his response to his son:
Hi Son.
No, nope, huh uh . . . I didn’t ask for it; you did. While you were still here in Juneau, I saw this problem first hand as it was rearing its ugly little head and tried to talk to you about it. You had all of the answers and didn’t want to listen, not to me, not to God, not to anyone . . . you had all of the answers and therefore must know everything. So, I left it alone.
Let me give you some things to think over:
- God gave you everything you need to be happy, loved, employed and content – it’s inside of you and hasn’t mysteriously gone away. More than likely you pushed it aside in favor of your own thinking; God won’t contend (fight) with you when matters of free will are involved. You can send yourself to or through hell if you really want to do so. It is, after all, your right to make that choice.
- I don’t recall God sending you an email or making a telephone call to you, pleading for you to proselytize his son’s teachings while in a drunken stupor; fortunately, he has a sense of humor and compassion for his wayward children and didn’t opt to squish you like a bug while you mocked him with your behavior. By the way, how successful have you been, going in to a bar, getting shit faced within 10 minutes and preaching to a woman with such elegance that a relationship was developed?
- We don’t live in the wild west any longer; confidence (from being independent and employed), good manners, a well groomed appearance (the daily shower, shave, a spritz of cologne, casual dress clothes and real shoes) along with a willingness to listen are the things that will help you win the attention of a woman and some time with her. (Note: this even works with people you want to impress, like new customers, employers or potential friends.)
- Don’t bother trying for the “hood” look, it won’t work with a woman of quality; loose the sweatpants, t-shirts, sneakers, 3 day old beard, the unbathed body stench and the, “it’s my way or the highway,” or the “it’s just the way I am” and the infamous “take it or leave it” attitude(s) when courting a lady, boss or new friend. It’s a waltz, and you need to be dazzling.
- Cordial drinking works this way; never power slug the booze, one drink an hour is max (quit after 4 or don’t start). Why not you ask, it’s simple– if you get lucky and score, it’d be nice to think you will remember it more than puking your guts out at the feet of a porcelain alter. Vomit breath from over drinking isn’t a turn on, especially on a first meeting.
- While spending time with these others, don’t hog the conversation by whining or by sharing only your opinions, your answers about life-your past loves-your everything else, it isn’t something they want to hear about because, surprise, surprise they may be trying to impress you and likely won’t be able to get a word in with a crowbar unless you shut up; and guess what? If they can’t participate and shine in that first meeting they may leave in frustration and not try again-you only get one shot at making a great impression, which is easier to do if your are quick to listen and slow to speak.
- Let your humor shine through when the time is right, smile often, always listen, and be relaxed ~ it’ll make you approachable.
- Remember, if this works with only one out of ten people, when you’ve met a hundred you could have 10 keepers. Remain open to new relationships and new situations, or risk missing out on a treasure if you clam up.
- Bare in mind that you can’t buy friends, and real friends will like you in spite of your property or lack of it; that holds true with a possible life mate as well.
- Finally, we can all learn at a pace that works for us and we should do something every day to improve ourselves intellectually; but most of all, don’t hate yourself for short comings, most folks won’t notice your short comings unless you stuff them in their face. You are a specific creation and unique to the world, there is no one else like you; there is only a single copy of you. Don’t throw it away or disrespect it, it’s precious.

So, there you have it, a father’s advise to his son, whatcha think, not enough? To religious? Much to much or just to damn hokey for belief? Well, c’mon, let’s hear it.
Ya know I raised you right boy! 
Now, light up and listen, yeah, suck down them suds like a big boy, the lord may be speaking through me tonight and we both got things to say.
. . . ouch son, yer to young to skull crush that can.
Now, where was I . . . oh, yeah an don’t tell mom that you’ve started chasing skirts, she ain’t gonna go for that at all! Smoking is bad ’nuff for her.
Women is funny that way . . . so, where could I possibly go wrong raising you?
This shits EZ . . . lets hear it from EZ, aaahhhh.
Meh, mebbe dad ain’t really gotta clue, but all we can ever do is try; and so I think I’ll try ‘nother beer n thanks for the life lessons.
Be careful around your kids, they may be listening.
