Viva la revolution America ~ ink up your voting fingers and loose the power of your vote!

Without apology or explanation, I am firmly ensconced as a constitutional conservative. That does not imply that I am blind to the needs of others, nor would I think for a single moment that you acted foolishly in your defense of Obama. It does sadden me that he's left you somewhat disillusioned.

My faith is not in government and politicians; my faith lay with average Americans, that form the backbone of this country. It is my belief that they will speak out with their votes.

No matter the outcome, where I distrust politics, politicians and lawyers with their hands in everyone else's financial pockets; the average American will have their say to the peril of those that treat them with disdain.

Great to hear from you, raven.

I liked this post a lot. If I am being sincere, I too have my reservations about this health care bill. Probably not for the same reasons as you, but we converge on the principal that President Obama and congress at large have not taken the will of the people into consideration when it comes to this legislation.

I had such high hopes for this man and... as I'm certain you recall... I campaigned HEAVILY for him. Moreso than I've done for any other candidate. I'm left in turmoil... somewhat disillusioned... but still very hopeful.

I've come to the conclusion that the election of Barack Obama was still a very positive thing... if only because it is evidence that the American people still have the potential to get behind an idea, get excited, and rally. This should come in handy when it becomes necessary for we peasants to take back the country.
